Low Cost Installation System for Satellite Interactive Terminals |
 Noordwijk, 5 Dec, 2005: The issue of Low Cost Installation Systems for
Satellite Interactive Terminals was addressed at the last SatLabs meeting held on the 15th and 16th Nov 2005.
The DVB-RCS standard today is a technology which has been implemented and
operationally deployed in a number of networks providing commercial
services.
But these network deployments are still limited in number to a few
hundred terminals at most, and are currently confined to the SOHO and
enterprise markets.
The next DVB-RCS challenge is to demonstrate the
capability of deploying the technology on a larger scale.
